Summary

Hello and welcome!

Full policy

It's great to have you studying with us. If you're new to Harcourts Real Estate Training Centre, you might be wondering: “Where do I start?”

We want to make sure you have everything you need for a great start and throughout your course.

Your course is fully online, so all the learning materials and assessments are supplied to you through the Online Student Portal.

Our learning resources are not available in hardcopy and most of the learning resources are links to websites that cannot be easily downloaded and printed. They are designed so that you are required to look up information, use property portals, research information and use legislation to complete documentation as if you were working in a real estate agency.

You must become familiar with this Online Student Portal as it provides access to everything you need to complete your course and assessments.

Here are our top three tips.

  1. Explore your Online Student Portal and familiarise yourself with how to navigate around the site and become familiar with its functionality.
  2. Look carefully at the Learning Resources in each course unit to make sure you get the most from your studies. Read all the learning resource information, use and explore the links and review any forms or documents before attempting your assessments.
  3. When completing your course and assessments, we recommend you attempt one unit at a time and complete the assessment tasks in the recommended order.

We're here to help and have several student support options available. Get in touch if you have any questions or need any assistance with your course or assessments.

During business hours you can contact us through our Student Experience Team, by phone on 1300 024 401, or email help@realestatetrainingcentre.com.

Assistance can be found on our website where there is plenty of student information. We also have our Discussion Forum in the Help and Support Course on the Student Portal. This is where our Trainers and Assessors post study tips and answer any important questions students have throughout their course. Review forum posts made by other students and trainers in the Discussion Forum for answers to your questions.

Your trainer and assessor are available by email and phone. Refer to the Help and Support Announcements Forum for your trainer and assessor contact details and availability. Face-to-face support days are available for students. The details, dates and times can also be found in the Announcements Forum.

For full details refer to the Help and Support section of your course.
